SCOTT WEILAND To Guest On CBC's 'The Hour' Tonight

August 15, 2007

VELVET REVOLVER frontman Scott Weiland will be the featured guest on "The Hour" tonight (Wednesday, August 15). The program, which airs at 11:00 p.m. on CBC in Canada, is hosted by George Stroumboulopoulos. The interview will be available for viewing at this location once it has aired.

VELVET REVOLVER filmed the video for its new single, "The Last Fight" earlier in the month in the Los Angeles area.

"The Last Fight" is the second single from VELVET REVOLVER's "Libertad" album. The track will go for radio adds on August 20.

VELVET REVOLVER's sophomore album, "Libertad", sold 93,000 copies in the United States during its first week of release to land at position No. 5 on The Billboard chart. This is a little over one-third of the 256,000 first-week tally registered by its predecessor, "Contraband", which landed at No. 1 on The Billboard 200 chart back in June 2004.

The first single from "Libertad" was "She Builds Quick Machines". Watch the promotional video for the song at YouTube.
